I hear that NOLA now has some sort of Master Plan for zoning and development. Here in Baltimore, we have the same thing going on. What they intend to zone out is the poor/economically marginal. In NOLA, this will certainly hit musicians and artists, among others just trying to live. Here is how it will go based on Baltimore: They have been shamed into having public hearings. They will have these. What will not be revealed is that the framework has already been determined behind closed doors. A few minor details will likely be permitted to be discussed in a public forum.
