While I like all music, I was under the impression that WWOZ concentrated on the music of the Gulf Coast, New Orleans and Louisiana. Recently I have noticed that during the afternoon show the play list slips into blue grass/country. WHY??? I am not against blue grass or country, but there are stations for that. WWOZ is unique and a place I relied on for years to stay with the local music - blues, jazz, zydeco ie cajun, mardi gras ie brass band, etc. So when did "OZ" branch into the other mediums? In that case why not classical? bunny
