I am compiling a CD of love songs by New Orleans artists for my wedding party. Anyone have any recommendations? I have 4 so far.

You can't leave out Irma Thomas -- mellower stuff is on After the Rain, more driving stuff is on A Woman's Point of View.

On the jazz side, trumpeter/vocalist Leroy Jones just put out a new disc of ballads called Sweeter than a Summer Breeze, complete with strings.
