HandsOn New Orleans is hosting its next biannual competitive wine tasting fundraiser, Bacchanalia Spring 2014: Red Wines of France, at The Roux House on 3/20/14.
Register your team of 1-3 participants, and then bring three identical bottles of French red wine. Two bottles will be corked for blind tasting and the third set aside in reserve. After blind tasting, every attendee will vote on their favorite. Three winners are announced. First place takes home half the reserve, then second and third place split the other half.
Expect a wide variety of high-quality raffle items to bid on. Hors d’oeuvres will be passed around throughout the event and a cash bar will be available.
Tickets can be purchased through www.handsonneworleans.org or the Facebook page. All proceeds from the event will go to HandsOn New Orleans. For more information about Bacchanalia, please contact HandsOn New Orleans’ Director of Development, Jason Lacoste, at (504) 827-6813 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
