The Kidney Walk is a non-competitive 2.2 mile stroll that raises funds to fight kidney disease through prevention, advocacy and education.
The event is a four- man scramble tournament that will include a buffet dinner and awards ceremony. The proceeds will benefit the National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana. To learn more about how to participate, sponsor, or volunteer, contact David Warner at 504.861.4500.

Our goal this year is to raise $233,000 with 1,500 registered walkers. Our Corporate Recruitment Chair this year is Steve Daigle, owner & CEO of Punctual Abstract.
Post-walk food and drinks will be provided from Zea’s, Piccadilly Cafeteria, Rocky & Carlos, Acme Oyster House, Lucky Dog hot dogs, Zapp’s potato chips, Mr. Ed’s, Dorignacs, Dragos, PJ’s Coffee, Coke products, and Republic National Distribution. Post-walk activities will include a maze, space walk, face painting, and DJ music.
In a City that celebrates everything, we say lets celebrate the end of hurricane season. And by celebrating, we contribute to the future preparedness of our city by raising awareness for evacuteer.org and the countless volunteers and community organizations who support our mission.
This year, 2014, we have even more to celebrate. The quietest hurricane season since 1982. The installation of EvacuSpots around New Orleans that now creatively mark evacuation pick-up points. Media coverage from around the country and the globe. The largest number of trained and specialized Evacuteers. And #ByeBye6 in a new, bigger venue, with bigger entertainment: Big Sam's Funky Nation, Wild Magnolias Mardi Gras Indians, Flow Tribe, To Be Continued Brass Band, Walker Landry Marching Band with performances by the Cherry Bombs and the Organ Ginders!
