Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Jefferson is a non-profit organization seeking volunteers. As a CASA, volunteers receive in-depth training to advocate in court and in the community for the needs and rights of children in foster care.

Currently in Jefferson Parish, there are 37 children waiting for an Advocate to step up and be their voice in court; these children are counting on you. CASA Jefferson is offering an in-person Advocate training for individuals who want to make a difference in a child's life.

Trainees will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays January 5 through February 2 from 6:30-9pm and Saturday January 31 from 9am-4:30pm. To register or for more information contact CASA Jefferson at 504-533-8757 or eschneider@casajefferson.org.
