Imagine stepping in to a familiar place where your neighbors meet to share some strong coffee and friendly chat. The familiar sounds of people conversing and the faint clatter of spoons stirring coffee cups fills the air. As your eye travels around the period green painted room and you notice the photographs on the wall. Your gaze rests on old time glass and wood cases displaying fresh donuts. Scenes on and around Oak Street as well as autographed celebrities are on display. Resident artist Richard Lynch, Sandra Lafaver and Maria Gatti hang some of their finest work on site here. A place like the Oak Street Café serves as a corner stone of the values and charm that define the neighborhood we call home. Every neighborhood paints a self portrait of the people who live there.
