The Brett Thomas Doussan Foundation will host its second annual Notes for Hope. The benefit will take place at NOLA Brewery from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm and will feature live music by the Honey Island Swamp Band, Darcy Malone & the Tangle, Motel Radio, and Amanda Ducorbier. There will be more than twenty locally brewed beers on tap by NOLA Brewing as well as on-site food available for purchase. There will also be several arts and crafts vendors.

‘Notes for Hope’ is a community effort to raise awareness and funding for the foundation’s mission and the Music for the Mind Campaign. The foundation’s Music for the Mind Campaign spotlights musicians and features their stories relating to music’s impact on their mental health and wellness. The Campaign has received support from legendary artists such as George Porter Jr., PJ Morton of Maroon 5, Papa Mali, and Big Sam’s Funky Nation in addition to the Notes for Hope live musical guests. “We hope you too will consider joining our efforts in fostering mental health awareness through musical culture in the city of New Orleans by joining us on June 25th,” says the foundation’s Vice President Ashlyn Blanchard. To purchase Notes for Hope tickets and to learn more about the Music for the Mind Campaign, visit www.btdfoundation.org.
