Music FUNdamentals is designed for 6- to 9-year olds to enjoy weekly opportunities to sing, move, play and create together in a small, mixed-age group setting. All sessions integrate vocal music, hand percussion and mallet percussion, movement and basic music literacy. In addition to group music making facilitated by a certified music educator, time is allowed for instrumental exploration and music theory game play. Diverse repertoire will be selected from world music as well as the Crescent City soundtrack.
