course is ideal for young musicians enthusiastic about singing. Musicians will enjoy weekly vocal ensemble rehearsals in a fun, challenging, non-competitive atmosphere culminating in a performance for friends and family. Through playful warm ups and singing games along with a diverse, engaging repertoire we will explore skills including but not limited to: -Breath support and tone -Harmonizing -Stage presence & confidence building -Vocal improvisation -Singing in other languages -Microphone technique -Basic body percussion and hand percussion accompaniments -Intro to basic music theory, vocabulary and ear training *6-year-old siblings and 6-year-olds who've participated in previous Musicollaborative camps or classes may also register.
