Celebrating its 22nd year, the Cochon Cotillion has established itself as a legendary event and a true parody of traditional black-tie galas and of the more customary Mardi Gras Balls. For one night, over 800 guests will be able to unwind and party as only New Orleanians can at the first “unofficial” ball of the 2019 Carnival season! King Bill Mimeles and Queen Betsie Gambel will preside over the evening’s festivities, including a marvelous party with a live band, a mini Mardi Gras parade, celebrity emcees, remarkable food from local restaurants, libations, a large silent auction and a raffle! In addition to the substantial funds raised, Cochon Cotillion helps elevate the community’s awareness of our mission. Cochon Cotillion is Bridge House / Grace House’s biggest fundraiser of the year and is presented this year by the Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust and the Goldring Family Foundation. Events such as the Cochon Cotillion and the support received from the community ensures that Bridge House / Grace House can continue to sustain our levels of services, saving lives throughout the Greater New Orleans Area.
