On December 17th, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., it's our turn to roll up our sleeves and give five-year old Amos Trumble, diagnosed with leukemia this summer, a fighting chance. With family and friends of Amos, generous sponsors & musicians, and the Blood Center of New Orleans, we are hosting a Rock and Roll Blood Drive to benefit the Trumble Family at Gasa Gasa. It will be a reason to rejoice, as we'll be helping this tiny tot and his family defer expensive medical costs.
We'll have free food for donors and friends, $5 raffle tickets for some amazing gifts (stay-cations, jewelry, gift certificates, all those things that you want and need!), a giving tree, the Crescent City Fae, and killer live music by DJ Penetrol, Guitar Lightnin' Lee (OG Rhythm & Blues), Trash Night (Swamp & Roll & Amos' Daddy's Band!), the Gushers (Punk & Roll), and the Swingin' Doors (Outlaw Country)! It's a free show!
Eureka! You can help Amos in many ways before, after, and during:

- Attend the event and support the family and friends of Amos!
Make sure you get ready for this punk swamp original gangster outlaw country rock & roll who dat good time by eating a diet with lots of iron rich leafy greens, red meat, and avoid caffeinated beverages (if you plan to donate)! You're in luck if you just got a tattoo-if it's been a month and you did it in a registered location within our region you are good to go. Please see the complete list of donor guidelines and deferrals here!
Thanks for taking a moment to read, and hope to see you all there on December 17th! It'll be a super fun party with a much greater purpose. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Trumble family. Let's shoot for the moon-we'll surely hit some stars!
