BarCentennial

Monday, November 13, 2017 -
6:00pm to 10:00pm
Blue Nile
532 Frenchmen St
New Orleans, LA 70116
Next Monday, November 13, the Barman’s Fund and New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic & Assistance Foundation (NOMAF) will host BarCentennial - a cocktail competition and wellness fair for New Orleans’ thriving tourism industry workers. Inside the Blue Nile, BarCentennial features tasting tables and an all-out competition pairing bartenders with spirit brands, judged by a panel of local celebrities. Outside on Frenchmen, health providers offer free flu shots, healthcare enrollment, rapid HIV screening, and more. “Working in the hospitality and cultural industry makes health care difficult to access – the late nights, the long shifts,” says Erica Dudas, Managing Director NOMAF. “BarCentennial is a celebration of New Orleans’ nightlife culture AND a ways to get important primary care into the hands of people who make New Orleans a world class destination. This makes our city stronger.”
