NOLA Voice Theatre at the Valiant-Show Two

Fresh off the success of The Gretna Mainstreet New Music Theatre Festival in April, NOLA Voice Theatre, the City's only theatre troupe dedicated to the art and preservation of voice theatre, presents their first summer season of three monthly showcase productions benefitting the new Valiant Theatre and Lounge. Show Two features the return of our original series, 'Untold New Orleans,' detailing the folklore, myths, and legends of the Big Easy. Starring New Orleans theatre icon Edward R. Cox * as Monsieur Darque, Keeper of the Confidential Records of New Orleans. Also starring Soline McLain*, Donald Lewis*, B.D. Boudreaux ^, Stephen Denning, Karen Shields, Jessica Daigle, and Cooper Bucha **. A twenty minute intermission is followed by Act Two, a full-scale recreation of the brilliant Kaufman & Hart comedy 'The Man Who Came To Dinner.' Starring Vatican Lokey* as Sheridan Whiteside, and Soline McLain* as Maggie Cutler. Also starring Donald Lewis*, B.D. Boudreaux ^, Stephen James, Darcy Preston, and Scott Crane. Show Two is presented under the auspices of Actors' Equity Association's Members' Project Code. All proceeds benefit the Valiant Theatre. Doors open at 7:45 pm, showtime is 8 pm at the Valiant Theatre and Lounge. Ask for the drink special, the "NVT Cocktail," a smooth, fruity concoction perfect for the evening.
