In 1981, John Rutter founded his own choir, the Cambridge Singers, which he conducts and with which he has made many recordings of sacred choral repertoire (including his own works). He frequently conducts many choirs and orchestras around the world. Our concert will include Rutter’s inspiring arrangements of your favorite carols, including “The Twelve Days of Christmas”,“Joy to the World” and “Silent Night.” In addition to other Christmas music you may be less familiar with such as “Mary's Lullaby” and the “Candlelight Carol.”
Tickets are $15 and are available at the door and also at:
Braswell's Drugs, English Tea Room, Lowe's Jewelers, Hebert's Cleaners
The concerts will be held on December 19th at the First United Methodist Church Hammond and December 20th at Fuhrmann Auditorium in Covington. Both concerts will start at 7:30 pm, with the box office opening an hour before the performance.
