Paddling for Preservation

DATE
Sun, Oct 20, 2013
TIME
9:00am - 4:00pm

Craving a mini-vacation but don't have the time to get away? Always wanted to paddle the Great Tangipahoa River but haven't had the chance?

Land Trust for Louisiana and Canoe and Trail Adventures are here to make it happen!
It's time for the Third Annual Tangipahoa Canoe Trip. Join us October 20 at 9:00 a.m. for a day of relaxing and floating down this classic gulf coast stream. Biologists and naturalists will be on hand to point out and describe the flora and fauna along the tour. Bring a snack lunch for the noon break; refreshments will be provided at the end of the journey at Pine Knoll Farm.

Proceeds from the event will go to benefit Land Trust for Louisiana. LTL is a non-profit land conservation organization that works to protect and preserve the state's natural resources, urban green environments, and agricultural lands for present and future generations.
