The Sarcoma Foundation of America's (SFA) Louisiana Chapter is gearing up to help Tulane University student Billy Coombs, who was diagnosed with synovial cell sarcoma, a rare cancer, "Take A Bite Out of Sarcoma". The event will take place Monday, October 14th from 1:30pm until 7:30pm at Dat Dog on Freret St in New Orleans. Tulane students will be provided transportation via the Tulane Shuttle, to and from the event.
Williams Plum St. Snowballs will also take part in the festivities. A portion of sales for the day from both Dat Dog and Plum St., will go to assist Billy in his medical journey and to the SFA. Donations will also be accepted on-site and through the SFA website.
