The NET Charter High School is recruiting volunteers to serve as Career Mentors as a part of the school's Career & Internship Program.
Career mentoring benefits our students by helping them to:
- Become engaged in their work and take ownership of their learning
- Develop new interests and skills from professionals in the field
- Apply what they've learned in school to real world situations
- Gain an increased awareness of their personal skills, attributes, qualities, and values
Career Mentors commit to offering semester-long, unpaid internships where students are allowed to work alongside their mentor at the mentor’s place of business up to 2 day per week.
To learn more about this exciting opportunity, please visit the event website to RSVP to an information session on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, from 5:30pm - 6:30pm at the NET Charter High School, located at 1614 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.
