Two shows at 6pm and 8pm.
Charles Aznavour, the man and his music, is unequalled in the entertainment world. The man who reinvented the French chanson, composed more than 600 songs, and sold more than 100 million records world-wide has been an enigma in our country. Praise for Aznavour has run from the "Sinatra of France" to the "World's Entertainer of the Century", and although these are monikers to spur lively debate, what is not debatable is that his music is enduring, beautiful, fun, and insightful. For instance, "Yesterday When I Was Young", he penned it.
Our show will feature the angelic voice of Heidi Campbell and an amazing new singer to New Orleans, Hector Ventura. Add to the mix Philip Melancon on piano and accordion , Dave Thomas on drums, and Dave Maleckar on bass and a memorable evening will be hummed by an awed, appreciative audience. Come and join us on this the French of French days: Sunday, Bastille Day.
