Come to the Glitter Box to meet fellow stitchers, get some inspiration, or learn a new skill! The first hour will consist of a lesson in the basics of knitting and crochet. The rest of the time we’ll work on our projects and look at what other fiber artists are doing. Beginners will learn how to make a basic scarf. More experienced yarn enthusiast will learn more advanced crochet stitches or to knit a hat! If you are happy with what you’re already working on just come at any point, have a drink and work on your project with us. Bring your own materials or contact us if you want us to supply you with a starter kit (two balls of yarn and knitting needles or crochet hooks). We will have some supplies on hand if you just want to learn, and whatever you make will become a part of a blanket that we will donate to a local women’s shelter.
