The Selvy Singers, an award-winning family group from Arkansas, will be the headline performers at the 24th annual Gospel Is Alive! concert, Monday, April 29, 10 a.m. at the Franklin Avenue Baptist Church. Admission is free.
Gospel Is Alive! is the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation's annual outreach program for youth and senior citizens in the New Orleans area. The concert is also open to the public, free of charge, depending on seating availability.

The Selvy Singers will be joined by the Mahalia Jackson Youth Gospel Choir under the direction of Rev. Lois Dejean and the New Orleans Council on Aging Choir.
