CASA New Orleans (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is an agency that advocates on behalf of children (birth to 18+) who have been judged victims of abuse and/or neglect. A CASA volunteer offers a child trust and advocacy during complex legal proceedings. Interacting and explaining to the child what is going on, the CASA may be the only stable and continuous presence in the child’s life.
We are especially in need of more male and African American volunteers but we welcome all volunteers!

All orientations are located at 1340 Poydras St. NOLA 70112 in our conference room on the 21st floor.
The duties carried out by a CASA are extremely important. No special education or skills are required. We provide thorough training and continual support.
