Alert Day is the American Diabetes Association's one day wake up call urging the American public to take our diabetes risk assessment. This year, Alert Day is Tuesday, March 26. This will be the culmination of a week-long series of events. The ADA will be taking over Fulton Street: ADA and Walgreens will provide risk assessments, Tulane Culinary School of Medicine will provide a cooking demo/food preparation (diabetic friendly options) and live entertainment from a New Orleans favorite – The Original Royal Players. Lunch specials will be happening at Ruth’s Chris, Manning’s, Grand Isle Restaurant and Gordon Biersch. Come out to Fulton Street from 11am-1pm and invite your friends!
