second annual women’s retreat CELEBRATES WELLNESS AND CULTURE

The Louisiana Center for Health Equity (LCHE) is hosting three, one-day retreats entitled: Women’s Retreat 2013: Celebrating Wellness and Culture. Each event will offer educational seminars, health exhibitions, health screenings, and physical activities. Each retreat will focus on providing vital health information to increase health awareness and outcomes among women across the state. Beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m., the retreats will be held in New Orleans on Saturday, March 16th, in Shreveport on April 13th, and Baton Rouge on May 14th. A health rally at the State Capitol will take place representing women from across the state on May 15th.
