Bacchanalia 2013:Pinot Noir

A competitive wine tasting fundraiser, featuring pinot noir, will be held at The Roux House (above Walk-On’s) on Thursday, March 21, 2013, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Teams of one to three purchase a ticket to the Bacchanalia and bring three identical bottles of pinot noir to enter the competition. Two bottles are uncorked for blind tasting and scoring by the crowd. The third bottle is placed in reserve. First, Second, and Third place teams split the reserve of unopened bottles. Participants enjoy blind tasting, music, and hors d’oeuvres while voting for their favorite pinot noir.

Tickets can be purchased online at bacchanalia2013.eventbrite.com. Tickets are $20 per person.

All proceeds benefit HandsOn New Orleans, a nonprofit that engages, empowers and transforms our community through volunteer service.
