GRN Lecture: Paddling the Heart of America

Adventure kayaker, Daniel "Out of Order" Alvarez, is paddling the heart of America, taking his trusty yellow kayak over 4,000 miles from the Northwest Angel of Minnesota to the Florida Keys, and he's coming by New Orleans! Come see his photos and hear some stories.

Along the way, Daniel is making lots of new friends, experiencing the best (and not-so-good) of the heartland's wilderness, and celebrating some of the organizations that help preserve and protect America's waterways.

The event is free and open to the public. There will be light refreshments, and drink specials will benefit the Gulf Restoration Network (GRN). Donations will be gladly accepted and GRN staff will be on hand to offer memberships, including the opportunity to sign up your friends and loved ones with a gift membership that includes a GRN Klean Kanteen.
