City Park Junior Tennis Club's Family Fun Fest

On November 17, 2012, City Park Junior Tennis Club will present New Orleans Youth Tennis’ 5th Annual Family Fun Fest & Picnic on the tennis courts in City Park. The event will give the families of young players a chance to join in the fun they have every Saturday morning. As with every Saturday session, the event is open to the public, and free to all who show up.

At this year’s event families can bring their own favorite food and drink, or enjoy the food being provided by Fellini’s Café, Café Minh, & Martin’s Wine Cellar, and join in on the fun the kids will be having on and off the tennis court. The great fun metro kids have on Saturdays at the free tennis sessions is legendary. The day will begin with the usual instruction session from 8 to 11 a.m. Then, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., festivities begin. Prizes and giveaways, food and refreshments, including pizza, and face-painting by Elizabeth, will make the event enjoyable for all who attend, whether they choose to play or not.
