Not a Moment to Spare

There is Not a Moment to Spare in The Extra Mile’s mission of service to children, youth, adults and their families who are facing the challenges of addiction, developmental disabilities, and mental illness. On November 15, 2012, the Jefferson Parish nonprofit will host its First Annual, Not a Moment to Spare event from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.

Not a Moment to Spare will take place at Rock N Bowl located at 3000 S. Carrollton Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70118 from 6:30 – 9:00 pm. Festivities are set to include gift bags for the first fifty attendees, door prizes, bowling, food, and a silent auction. Silent auction items have been donated through local artists and community businesses with bidding to end at 8:30 pm. Throughout the evening attendees can look forward to hearing from Executive Director Sylvia Pearson and event chair Jena Regan about the current state of behavioral health and addiction services along with the work to come.
