Seventh Annual Broadmoor Fest: Come Celebrate with the Lil’ Neighborhood that Could
With music, food, art, and children’s activities, Broadmoor will be the place to be on Saturday, October 20, 11 am -7 pm for the Seventh Annual Broadmoor Fest. The New Orleans neighborhood, which has come to represent a model for neighborhood recovery, will hold the festival on the grounds of Rosa F. Keller Library and Community Center (4300 South Broad Street). The festival is hosted by the Broadmoor Improvement Association and sponsored by Ochsner Baptist Hospital and Entergy.
The musical lineup includes Charmaine Neville, vocalist Sharon Martin, New Orleans guitarist Carl Leblanc and many more. There will also be numerous food vendors—Woody’s Fish Tacos, Cane River Meat Pies and Crepes ala cart—to name a few as well as art booths, businesses and community services.
