Food and Fitness Fair at Sankofa Farmers Market

On Saturday, October 20th, Sankofa Community Development Corporation and the Healthy Heart Community Prevention Project are teaming up to host the Food and Fitness Fair in New Orleans’ Ninth Ward. The Fair will feature workshops on nutrition, physical fitness activities for children, live music by local performers Charmaine Neville Band and the Yisrael Trio youth jazz band, healthy cooking demonstrations, free health screenings, and more.
