The first annual Blues in da Parish Festival will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Docville Farm, 5124 E St Bernard Hwy in Violet, Louisiana. Starting at noon, this year's free event will feature 7 hours of continuous live performances including some of today's best Louisiana blues musicians including The Dana Abbott Band, Mike Darby and the House of Cards, 30x90 Blueswomen, Lil Red and Big Bad, Kenny Acosta and Jonathon Long and Blues Revolution.
