Come out to a family- & planet-friendly event kicking off The Green Project's newly revamped space with the HOT 8 Brass Band and a “Food Truck Food Court” on site with local vendors selling delicious eats featuring: Empanada Intifada, Green to Go NOLA, Dat Dog & Pete’s Pedal Pops.

Kids craft activities, a family-friendly scavenger hunt with prizes, photo opps with our resident Plastic Bag Monster, & a prize wheel to test everyone’s eco knowledge. Specials, pop-up sales & ‘green’ giveaways will all add to the day’s excitement.

There will also be “Recycle for Life,” area with unique recycling opportunities with Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO), Children’s Hospital Bone Marrow Registry, Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (LOPA), & Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana.
