Poems and Pink Ribbons

Poems and Pink Ribbons© is a series of creative writing workshops for breast cancer patients, survivors and their loved ones. This 6-week poetry workshop will be led by various local poets and sponsored by the Literary Lab NOLA. The workshops will encourage dialogue and create a unique support group for participants through poetry. The final workshop is a public reading featuring all workshop participants and a salute to National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Local breast cancer organizations and professionals are invited to provide free information and screenings.
