Often the focus of special education is centered around core academic subjects. However, many children with special needs excel in co-curricular and extra-curricular subjects. Often in these types of classes, students with special needs are not adequately supported.

focus to music and how music can enrich the lives as well as contribute to the
academic, social, and self-help
progress of students with special needs.
