New Orleans Concert Band (NOCB)

NEW ORLEANS, MAY 17 2012 - The New Orleans Concert Band (NOCB) will host their annual May concert at UNO’s Recital Hall on Sunday, May 20 at 3:00 pm. The concert is free and open to the public and is a great event for the whole family.

Sunday’s performance will include selections from Sweet Charity, Malcom Arnold’s “Prelude,” “Siciliano” and “Rondo” as well as “Four Scottish Dances,” Turina’s “Festival at Tangier,” and others.

Since 1975, the NOCB has been comprised of more than 60 volunteer musicians from the New Orleans area, with members from a variety of backgrounds who share a love of music.
