Running Friday and Saturday night with shows at 8 pm and on Sunday with a matinee at 2 pm.
This play is written, produced, and directed by Tulane student Hope Barnard who will be acting alongside local professional actors and student actors alike. In Monopolis, the young daughter in a large family yearns to escape from her inherited job running her mother’s after school program and go back to art school. She must decide between betraying her family or betraying herself. This play, about the concept of selfishness, responsibility to others versus responsibility to self, and the suffocating lull of monotony, exposes the people behind the Mulligan family to painful and humorous results.
