NOLAxNOLA No Cover Event

Doors 5pm | Event 6-7:30pm

Class is in session, and this time, you’re getting schooled in the funk.

Join DJ Soul Sister for a special deep dive into Parliament-Funkadelic, the wildly inventive musical universe of George Clinton, and the story of the Mothership, celebrating 50 years since its first-ever landing, which happened in New Orleans. In this conversation-style lecture, Soul Sister steps away from the turntables to dig into the history, ideas, and innovations that made P-Funk one of the most influential forces in modern music.
