Historic New Orleans Collection
Established in 1966, HNOC builds on the collection and vision of founders Kemper and Leila Williams. HNOC produces award-winning exhibitions, public programs, books and multimedia. In keeping with the founders’ wish to make New Orleans and Gulf South history accessible to the public, admission is free.
HNOC continues to collect rigorously, adding roughly 2,700 new items each year. Through their oral history program and many database initiatives, HNOC has compiled and digitized thousands of unique primary source materials dating from colonial Louisiana.

In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the Historic New Orleans Collection kicks off its Courtyard Sessions concert series with Catie Rodgers and her Swing Orchestra featuring special guest Lena Prima!
Bring your dancing shoes and enjoy tunes from the Great American Songbook, including hits by Louis Prima, in two back-to-back 45-minute sets.
A cashless bar will be available.
Admission is Free for HNOC members | $10 for Non-Members. Standing room only; seating is reserved for guests with accessibility needs.
