The Purple Pants Party is a family focussed fundraiser organized by The Ian G Thompson Foundation (a 501(c)3 organization. The Foundation's purpose is to raise awareness of Pancreatic Cancer - a common cancer the is often not diagnosed until it has spread. The Party is held to raise money to support local research efforts into this disease. The 4th Annual Purple Pants Party will be held at the Peoples Health New Orleans Jazz Market. There will be live music in the auditorium from Miss Mojo. In addition, there will be face painting and other child orientated activities. As in past years, our donors have been generous and there will be lots of auction and raffle items. Food will be provided and there will be an open bar.
