Throughout 2016, the National Park Service (NPS) has been urging Americans to #FindYourPark in honor of the NPS Centennial. The NPS turns 100 on August 25, and in honor of the big day, the French Quarter Visitor Center of Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve will also be urging visitors to#FindYourSnoball. On Saturday, August 27, the visitor center will host Snoball Day, a free event 11:00 a.m.-3:00p.m. celebrating the NPS Centennial and one of New Orleans’ favorite summertime traditions-- -the cool refreshing snoball.
