Rock 'n' Bowl features a wide range of local and Louisiana music. You can also bowl a few frames before the music. Note that the location has changed as of 2009 -- it is now at 3000 S. Carrollton Ave.

The Organ Grinders with the New Orleans Musicians' Clinic and Assistance Foundation are encouraging the community to donate blood in response to ongoing violence and life-threatening illnesses. From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., roll up your sleeves at Rock 'N' Bowl to restock the shelves of The Blood Center. Performing Activists include: The Guardians of the Flame, SOUL Brass Band, DJ Fayard Lindsey, Jeremy Thomas Trio, Bo Dollis Jr. and the Wild Magnolias, Krewe du Krakatoa and 14 dance troupes. Blood donors receive lei, t-shirt, food and beverage for their contribution. Advanced registration and Hawaiian costumes are encouraged.
