Come see our free presentation and learn how you can become a homeowner with the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity! We will be giving a detail program information session on our First Time Homebuyers Program. New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity (NOAHH) believes that all hard-working individuals and families should have access to the benefits and stability of homeownership. In this belief, we are committed to partnering with families to build simple, decent, and affordable housing. Our First Time Homebuyers program offers low income residents an opportunity to own a home for about the same monthly payment as renting. Participants can choose a Habitat for Humanity owned lot in the 7th, 8th, Upper 9th wards, New Orleans East or Central City on which we will build a brand-new, single family home. Habitat will then sell them the property with no financial down payment and a 0% interest loan. The homeowners' monthly mortgage payments include homeowner’s insurance, flood insurance property taxes, a termite contract. WHEN Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM WHERE Rosa F. Keller Library & Community Center - 4300 South Broad Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70125 - In Meeting Room
