We'll play some of the classics, but mainly on the Dr. John work of the past decade, the newer stuff that nobody hears but totally rocks. Or maybe we'll play other stuff.

I have been missing for two weeks and will be out for one more week. The last two I had work that kept me away from the city on Wednesday. This week while I will be working during the day I will be on Beale Street each evening for The International Blues Challenge. IBC is the largest gathering of blues band in the world.
Susan Robeson, granddaughter of the late, great Paul Robeson will be in WWOZ's studio Thursday morning to talk about her grandfather's life and music, & honoring his legacy through the Paul Robeson Foundation.
