On Tuesday, February 17th, at 11 a.m. catch Tom Morgan's special three-hour show dedicated to the Mardi Gras Indians. Joining him will be author, poet and former 'OZ show host, John Sinclair, as well as Indians live in our studio singing and talking about their culture.

On Feb 3rd, the Tuesday New Orleans Music Show (11 am - 2 pm) will kick off Carnival with the appearance of Frankie Ford, this year's King of the Krewe Du Vieux. Frankie will be making a two-fold trip as he will also be celebrating the release of a new CD "On the Street Where you Live." A long lost tape of a 1962 recording made at Cosimo's studio, that has been reissued.

It's carnival time !

As anybody who has ever listened to my show, I loves me some mardi gras & it's music.Unlike christmas music, I think mardi gras music should be heard all year long ! I will be peppering all of my february shows with anything & everything mardi gras ! And it won't stop 'til Super Sunday ! I will find any excuse to play Mardi Gras Music.
