The only Thursday of Jazz Fest is a special day at the Fairgrounds: the hardcore Jazz Festers are out in full force, after putting on their straw hats and calling in sick to work. It's also the day that the Festival gives out tickets to school children to attend the festival, so lots of kids were out enjoying all the culture and educational experiences the Jazz Fest has to offer.
We're half-way through Jazz Fest. The first weekend was tremendous with amazing live broadcasts from the Fest, huge crowds, beautiful weather, and WWOZ even sold out of brass passes. Since then Téada has grown into one of Ireland’s most ground-breaking, inventive and zesty bands, headlining at major music festivals throughout the world, from Ireland to America, Australia to Israel, and throughout Europe.
