'5 things to know' is a weekly feature highlighting different parts of the WWOZ world that you may have missed this week, including unique WWOZ programming and video, plus New Orleans events, artists, places, features, and more. For the week ending April 15, 2016:

1. This wonderful version of Louis Armstrong playing 'Ain't Misbehavin'' came to light earlier this week. It was recorded in 1929 and taken from the 'mother record,' resulting in a remarkably clean and crisp version of the old recording. Hear it below.

2. WWOZ's Piano Night is coming and we're super excited about this year's lineup. Check out a couple of the artist features we've run so far on headliners Monty Alexander and 2015 Piano Night honoree Henry Butler. More to come! See them and more at House of Blues on Monday, April 25.

3. Ole & Nu Style Fellas second line is happening this Sunday at 1p! It's also West Fest, the Westbank's Super Sunday event. Get the route sheets and more info on both events, plus hear Action Jackson's interview with the Ole & Nu Style Fellas at Takin' It To The Streets.

4. More from our video unit! We'll be video streaming live from the Abita Springs Busker Festival this Sunday. Performers include Tuba Skinny, The Deslondes, Shotgun Jazz Band, and more. Bonus video news this week: Sonny Landreth joined show host Black Mold in the studio recently to talk about his involvement with the important new documentary After The Spill. See parts of his performance and interview below.

5. This week's new music spotlight focused on the sweet vocal stylings of Miss Sophie Lee & the Parish Suites. Lee is well-versed in trad jazz and has shades of Billie Holiday peeking through. This release, Traverse This Universe, is mostly original compositions.
