'5 things to know' is a weekly feature highlighting different parts of the WWOZ world that you may have missed this week, including unique WWOZ programming and video, plus New Orleans events, artists, releases, places, features, and more. For the week ending March 25, 2016:

1. The Jazz Fest cubes were released on Tuesday and there are plenty of tough picks as to which stages to be at when, as always. Check out the day-by-day schedule.

2. WWOZ is involved with The Sound Sleep Initiative, a new partnership aiming to improve the health of New Orleans musicians and cultural performers by helping them get a better night's sleep. Once a week a brand new queen sized mattress, box spring, and bed frame will be delivered to a musician or other member of the New Orleans cultural community who is addressing an immediate health concern.

3. The Pigeon Town Steppers second line this Easter Sunday starting at 1p. Find the route sheet and hear Action Jackson's interview with the club's inspirational president, Rollin' Joe, a wheelchair-bound man who hasn't let his condition stop him from enjoying his life in the slightest.

4. This week on New Orleans Calling, host George Ingmire visits saxophonist, student of jazz, and educator Donald Harrison, Jr. to talk about everything from Miles Davis to Nouveau Swing, personal inspirations, and the importance of experiences and collaborations. A special performance was recorded live by New Orleans Calling for this program, which you can see below. You can hear New Orleans Calling on WWOZ each Saturday at 7a or listen online at neworleanscalling.wwoz.org.

5. This week's new music spotlight focused on Naughty Professor, a New Orleans-based funk/jazz collective. Fans of Galactic, Big Sam's Funky Nation, and George Porter, Jr.-- check these guys out.
