At Trumpet Black Fest by the Hill and Andrews Families, more than 20 bands will be on hand to celebrate the life and talent of Travis "Trumpet Black" Hill. They include New Breed Brass Band, Hot 8 Brass Band, Rebirth Brass Band, The Trumpet Mafia, Glen Hall, Brother Tyrone, Kid Merv. Steve Walker, Guitar Slim, Jr., Walter Wolfman Washington, Karen Andrews, Rockin' Dopsey, Jr., Cyrill Neville, The Heart Attacks, Glen David Andrews, James Andrews, Trombone Shorty Andrews, Corey Henry, and many Mardi Gras Indians.

There will also be an event on June 5 at the House of Blues New Orleans honoring Trumpet Black and led by his cousin James Andrews.
