Kid Thomas Band at Preservation Hall: "Tiger Rag" (1982)

Kid Thomas Valentine's band performs "Tiger Rag" at Preservation Hall on May 17, 1982, shot by Alan Lomax, the great collector of 20th century American folk music, and his crew. Kid Thomas' career as a New Orleans band leader lasted some six decades, from the 1920s to the 1980s. He passed away in 1987.

Drums: Alonzo Stewart; Trombone: Worthia Thomas; Bass: Chester Zardis; Piano: Sing Miller; Banjo: Emanuel Sayles; Sax: Emmanuel Paul; Clarinet: Willie Humphrey; Trumpet: Kid Thomas Valentine.
