This is a particularly beautiful rendition of an exquisite song: Ziggy Marley sings his father's "Redemption Song", backed by Irish folk legends the Chieftans. The original version was last song on Uprising, the last album released during Bob Marley's life; the version here is the closing track from the Chieftans 2001 album entitled The Wide World Over.

It's also an example of serendipity: with Saint Patrick's Day celebrations happening this weekend, I went looking for an appropriate video. This is not it--it's too serious to have much to do with "wearing the green" celebrations. But still well worth a look.
